Swinford’s Hospice Shop will stage a glittering takeover of Swinford Cultural Centre on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th November, all in aid of Mayo Roscommon Hospice.
We were delighted to have Tommy Marren from Mid West Radio here in the Hospice Shop in Swinford last Tuesday, to draw the winning ticket for our Christmas cake. The Christmas cake, which weighs over 14Lb's, was donated by the infamous GAA pundit Joe Brolly. Joe won the Christmas cake at the Mayo Roscommon Mistletoe Ball held in the Breaffy House resort earlier in the month. We would like to thank Joe for very kindly donating the cake to The Hospice Shop Swinford to raffle. Tommy Marren is pictured below pulling the winning ticket. Congratulations to the winner Madeline, who was delighted picking up her cake. Thanks to everyone who bought tickets for the raffle, all monies raised goes to the Pallitive Care services here in Mayo & Roscommon. Happy Christmas to one and all.
